When I feed the Ubuntu 6.10 install DVD to my laptop a dialogue window
pops up telling me it's detected an installation disk.  One of the
options in the dialogue lands me in Synaptic with the packages on the
DVD available.
So that part is already done, and works like a charm.

Next step would probably be to hire the same lawyer that O.J. Simpson used.  :-)
