I think it's a super idea. I love it. I have installed Ubuntu on machines
where
a) the machines were not intended for internet, so how does one get codecs,
etc.
b) there wasn't access to the internet, and in order to get on the net some
restricted-modules needed to be installed on the machine.
And even better: make it known to the first-time installer that the
information is available!
