I had some problems with this because the kernel didn't see the sata
drive. In edgy, you should do an lspci, and an lsmod to see what kind of
driver you have, and what module edgy uses to access it. You may have to
roll your on kernel to do this (I had to on some westinghouse laptops
that are actually made by toshiba). On the 2.6.19 kernel, I had to use
the sata_sil module.
