Good day.

I've had major problems installing feisty fawn on my laptop. My Specs
are: Toshiba Portege S100 S1133, 60 Gig HD, 1 Gig ram, Bios 1.50. The
problem seems it can't find the hard drive. I've tried the Desktop which
boots and partition fine but when I choose to install it stops at the
partition section and can't find the hard drive. The alternate cd does
the same thing. I tried every listed driver that is displayed with no
luck in finding the HDD. I did a system dist-upgrade online and
everything installed and on reboot it couldn't locate the HDD. I know
Ubuntu use to work with this model of computer because I've used both
6.06 and 6.10.

Does anyone have any suggestion I might try or am I just beating a dead
horse and just plain out of luck for 7.04.

Thank you.

Gary
