What are you looking for? It appears that Shaakunthala is, in fact,
trying to change the colours for the GRUB menu, since he is asking about
how to change the colour of the menu. splash is an option which runs the
splash script in the initramfs, which enables usplash. You can find
information about it in your initramfs.
