vlc does play avi files, I found one I had produced before and it works
fine - so it must be these particular avi files that it cannot play.



I have tried converting them to other formats but they do not convert
successfully. They play well, but poor quality, in Windows.



The easyubuntu software reports I have broken packages, how do I finf
out which and mend them?
