GRUB vs LILO in RAID Installs

Hi All,

I'm TRYING to install Ubuntu (Dapper) on an AMD64 (server, using ALT 
image), but it keeps using LILO.  Is there a way to force it to use 
Grub?  Funny thing is, I've tried the ALT disk, and the 32 bit version, 
both server and alt, and I'm getting LILO, but I had GRUB there before 
at least once (I've been experimenting with Xen, and reformatting 
frequently).  Is there any rhyme or reason to when it chooses LILO over 
Grub?
