mldonkey install problem/error on ubuntu 6.06 (server)

Hi

I wanted to install mldonkey-server on ubuntu 6.06, but I get an error while
installing. The follwoing three lines are shown on the screen (a full screen
dump is at the bottom of the email)
  Creating config file /etc/default/mldonkey-server with new version
  Starting MLDonkey: mlnetinstall: invalid option -- f
  Try `install --help' for more information.

Somehow the install command does not support the -f option. Removing this option
did not work, because after removing the -f option of the install line in
/etc/init.d/mldonkey-server I get the following error
  root at server:~# /etc/init.d/mldonkey-server start
  Starting MLDonkey: mlnetinstall: missing file operand
  Try `install --help' for more information.

Can you tell me anything on when this bug will be fixed? Thanks in advance
