Grub installation fails on Z61

i  have face the same problem. And i not sure what caused such problem. And
my solution is to install LILO instead of GRUB. And..its work fine. I
install linux at old desktop computer (celeron 500, 256mb ram). I'am not
sure weather it work for your computer on not.
