Grr... Flock and Firefox

Alright, so I followed Eamonn's advice and did:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

And it seemed to work for a bit, flock stayed open. But then I went to open
this email account (my other gmail account was fine) and flock closed. Then
I tried again with the same results, and tried with firefox with the same
results.

Please help me! I dont want to work on Windows anymore for my internet
needs!
