Well, the UNIX mantra "simpler is better" applies here I think. A lot
of people download the source code and recompile it themselves, and
generally source code is not that much of a bandwidth-hog. Anyway,
nowadays a couple of 1+ MB-patches has never hurt anyone - has it?
Anyone still using that old K56-modem, paying by the KB downloaded?
