Flash plug-in : CPU salesman ?!

Well, so is my own opinion of course, but in the case of
www.europe1.fr , I don't have much  choice ! The MENU system uses flash,
so it's not about eye candy, in this case it's about basic
functionality ! No flash = unusable site ! :-O :-/

Also, I remember an IT program on radio, where the guest they invited
was a famous blind singer, and he loudly complained about flash,
pointing out that it made most things unusable to them because unlike
plain html links which can be (as I understood it) detected and handled
by accessibility programs, it's impossible to "read" a flash animation
when you are blind !

So flash really is a disaster, at least when webmaster are stupid enough
to make the functionality of the site depend on it, by embedding links
and menus what have you, in it, instead of just useless eye candy.
