Hi sascha!

I wish I were a bit more Mac aware. I like the machines but have more
experience and access to PC stuff. But no one has responded to you that I
can see so here goes.

As Ubuntu live boots it stops at a screen where you see the Ubuntu logo and:
-------------------------------------------

This is the Ubuntu Live CD.
Press F1 for help and advanced options.

For the default live system press ENTER.

boot: _

----------------------------------------------
For the background of it I would recommend going through the F1 -- to -- F10
menus. The information is good.

The important line is the last one. At "boot: _" try typing "live
mem=512m". If that fails try "live mem=2000m".

I would be most interested in how this comes out.

Thanks!

Tod
