Well, *that* security risk is pretty much OS-independent. You can't make 
a system secure if the user doesn't want it to be. Naturally, I was 
talking about the cases where the computer is infected and the user 
didn't want it to be.

Yes. I actually like to turn that argument around. "With Windows you 
need to be a security professional just to check your mail, with Linux a 
regular user can expect their computer to not be infected". You 
shouldn't need to be a geek or have a PhD in network security to check 
your mail securely. Linux gives you that security, Windows doesn't.
