Problem/Clarification on install

Download an Ubuntu 5.10 Install CD iso for your architecture from 
http://www.ubuntu.com/download (most likely you want x86).  You do not 
need to unzip the iso files.

Follow the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BurningIsoHowto on 
how to burn the iso from Windows.  (iso files cannot simply be pasted 
onto a CD drive to burn them properly.)

Another alternative is to order Ubuntu CDs from 
https://shipit.ubuntu.com if you can wait a few weeks for delivery.
