Installed Ubuntu -Some problems faced

I've installed from the LiveCD and the Alternate CD. In my laptop
Centrino Pentium M 1.6GHz with 1GB RAM runs flawlessly, in my desktop
Celeron 1.2GHz with 128 MB I need to use the alternate install CD, and
in my other laptop AMD 1.3GHz with 256MB of RAM I need to install from
alternate install too.

In your point one, the computer stopped responding because, do you have
little RAM for the proccess, and because the start of the screensaver,
it hangs up your computer. It had installed the grub and Ubuntu, but
some files aren't installed, you need to reinstall your system from the
alternate install CD.
