David,
That's essentially the issue that I had, except it would not reboot, it
would just attempt to load the kernel and lock up without any message.
However, most of the packages that come with the standard installation are
unnecessary, as this computer will just be accessed over SSH and for running
some services on my local network. With that in mind, were you able to, or
could someone else instruct me on how to, remove all of the 'standard'
packages and replace them with the 'server' packages?
