No, I'm not, so please don't put words in my mouth.  I'm saying if you have
a working computer, you don't have a _need_ to install Linux on unsuitable
hardware.  If you _want_ to use Linux, then you need to consider the
hardware you have available and buy appropriate hardware if necessary.
