hardware raid solutions?

I have used http://www.3ware.com/ raid cards w/ linux (slack and fc) it
comes w/ a linux driver. I found 3ware to be most compatable/affordable for
use w/ s/ata linux. Side note - i have been switching to software raid 1.
But that all depends on your needs. I found that hardware raid 5 was over
kill.
