Let's face it. Windows does do some thing better.

I actually have used the windows installer, and while I do think that
the Ubuntu installer is easier, mainly because it is almost fully
automated, it's not exactly hard easier. And the installation, even with
gentoo (this is from personal experience by the way), is the easiest
part of setting up a desktop environment. After that, Ubuntu cannot
compare. Particularly the 64-bit version.
