Networking not auto starting in Dapper

	Related to this (I guess) -- I booted up this morning without the splash screen...and saw an error in the networking portion which (as I recall) was error in line 33, cd /var/run/ppp -- no such directory. However the networking on my machine starts as it is supposed to.
