Clamshell iBook, using ubuntu to install Tiger

I could be way off here, but I seem to remember that macs won't boot from an
external usb drive, but they will with an external firewire drive. If you
have access to a cable (assuming your ibook has 1394) you might be able to
boot from the ipod after all.
