no USB in Edgy

Is there no-one that doesn't have any problems with usb on edgy? I do not
have an unusual configuration. My mainboard is a msi RS480-IL (socket 939).
Weird, because my Dapper is still working like a charm, but it is annoying
to have to revert to it just for printing.
