no USB in Edgy

Hi everyone,

I have a strange problem in Edgy. I still have a working dapper installed,
but my edgy install doesn't recognize my usb devices like a printer,
joystick or iPod. In dapper lsusb gives for example:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 03f0:3011 Hewlett-Packard
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 044f:b304 ThrustMaster, Inc. Firestorm Dual Power
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000


but in Edgy I only get:

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

I have gotten my printer to work once in Edgy, but I haven't been able to
reproduce it. Hope someone knows what it could be...   Cheers,
