I have a similar problem with my Canon pixma IP3000 which also support
printing onto printable cd-s and it works great on Windows but in linux even
found a decent driver for this printer is a pain. I have even bought a
driver for it but the output is not what I wanted. So I print my docs and cd
/ DVD-s on windows. And that is the only thing that's keeping me from total
switch to ubuntu.
So if someone knows where to get decent drivers for my Pixma and the
software for cd printing it would be great :) By the way in windows I use
openoffice writer template to print my cd-s but this template doesn't work
on linux, weird.
