Yeah I tried running Qemui with and without this option, but it doesn't
make any (noticeable at least) difference.

:o) My processor is way too old as well ! ;o)
It's a 5 year old, 1,47GHz AMD Athlon XP !
That said, most of the time it's plenty fast enough (even modern
processors run at 1,5Ghz ).
The only times where it's a bit slow is when installing Linux packages
(god that eats CPU !!!), or when viewing website with Flash animation
(it brings the computer down on its knees !) and when running Linux
inside VWmare. For some reason that escape me, running Windows XP (which
is alien on a Linux host, after all) is fast in VMware, but Linux is
not.... :-(

Yeah indeed ! I used to have plenty enough space with my old 40GB hard
drive.... until I started playing with numerous OSes in VMWare !
I now have an 80GB disk and that's still a tight fit
