When do you turn off your Ubuntu boxes?

My box has a button problem wherein it won't start without a couple of
dozen pushes and the waving of a couple of dead chickens.  Because of
that I don't turn it off unless I /must/ upgrade hardware or there is a
power outage.

Or it gives me a BSOD.  Mwahaha, right!
