I don't know about the KWorld KW-878RF-PRO since my card is
KWorld VS-878RF, but I believe it should work too.

First and foremost, use a kernel 2.6.16 or above ( I had compiled
a 2.6.17 kernel containing the latest v4l2 and bttv drivers ). Of course,
compiling the latest bttv and v4l2 source and using those should work too,
but I felt compiling the latest kernel was easier.

Next, I followed the same procedure as mentioned in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=160271
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As mentioned there, I put the following lines in my
/etc/modprobe.d/bttv file:
----------------------------------------------
option bttv card=78 radio=1 tuner=38 pll=1 gbuffers=4 \
    gpiomask=0x1c0007 \
    audiomux=0x080000,0x000001,0x080000,0x080000,0x000001
----------------------------------------------
After I rebooted, both FM Radio and TV started working perfectly!!
(So, my tuner type is 38, not 5 as was autodetected using the card=78 option)

By the way, since you say that the you can feel the channels are
changing (although it looks fuzzy), I get the feeling you have not
scanned for the channels. If that is the case, and you are using
tvtime, then before running tvtime, use tvtime-scanner to scan the
channels. Also, are you sure you are using the correct video standard,
eg, PAL, NTSC or SECAM?

I hope this would help you get the card working.
