I've had this working! But it took a long time to get a working
solution. I've now changed my phone from a nokia to a motorola model,
and I'm back to square one. Part of the issue is figuring out the modem
initialisation string to put the phone into GPRS mode. Then there is
configuring an rfcomm device followed by pppd chat scripts. Not easy by
any standards.
