When Dapper is available and stable, that will be a very big welcome
change. It still doesn't address the undocumented nature of the input
systems. (What are the keystrokes used by Ziranma, for example?) Nor
does it address the crappy screen fonts. But it makes Ubuntu usable for
Chinese users (like my wife) out of the box instead of making them
either a) wrestle with a large variety of Magic Incantations<tm> or b)
hunt down a geek (like me) to take care of the frustrations for them.
(It would also be nice if the "five-stroke" -- not the same as Wubi! --
system were supported for keypad input -- but I guess I'm just a wild
dreamer. :D)
