[Dapper] libraw1394

 Hello all
     Libraw1394 was part of the latest updates to Dapper on this machine (70megs worth!!) but there is
a small problem. When libraw1394 was installed part of the routine is for a device (raw1394) to be created. For some reason it wasn't...and even when I as root go into /dev and MAKEDEV raw1394 it doesn't get created either. Good thing there is no Firewire on this box.

     The latest updates have also screwed power management - on shutdown the drive spins down but the computer remains live. Oh well, lots of time before the official release.
