Ubuntu mentors

Hi All,

I think the idea of an Ubuntu Mentors would be a great way to get
'convert' people from only looking at Ubuntu to really using it
day-to-day.

Even though the forums,IRC, and mail lists are friendly and helpful a
more personal approach for new users would be beneficial.

What does everyone think about this?

ps. if anyones got some webspace with db access i'll give hacking a
php based mentors listing/conenctor thing a goes - let me know
