Not good advice on a laptop. I'm sure support will improve, I just need to
hold out a little longer. I noticed that Ubuntu didn't come with the latest
drver, so I think I'm going to go get that and try it out.

OK. This is all fine and well. But how do I make OOo recognize the silly
thing now that it's installed? This has been my problem form the beginning.
Java has been working fine. I just used the stuff on synaptic. But I can't
seem to get OOo to reconize it's existence. But, I don't know much about
Java, so I'm probably doing something wrong.

As for my Beagle errors. I don't know what was going on. When I reset my
computer while experimenting with my ATI card settings the problem just
seemed to vanish. Beagle has been working great. I've been looking on the
net to see if there's any way to fiddle with best so it uses a file browser
other than nautlilus, but so far no luck. I sometimes use XFCE and it would
rock to integrate beagle into that a little more, but that is NOT a
priority. I'm way more interested in getting OOo to recognize java.

I have it, but OO.o2 still whines. Then again, breezy isn't stable yet.
