Hi
>From a long time I am facing a problem with my servers (Ubuntu 5.04)
ethernet port. Sometimes it works very fast and sometimes when I try to
contact server it takes few second to show if the server is available.
I ran tcpdump on eth0 and stored the output in a file. All the entries
i checked were of normal transaction over network except one which I
could not understand, do you know what that line means. I have copies
that line from tcpdump's output to here:
16:14:13.325005 802.1d config TOP_CHANGE 8001.00:13:c4:4f:d1:80.8016
root 8001.00:13:c4:4f:d1:80 pathcost 0 age 0 max 20 hello 2 fdelay 15
In the output of tcpdump, in everysecond its showing multiple entries
but when this entry comes, it shows only this entry in that particular
second but not multiple lines. Also I could not understand what this
line is for.
Can you help me please.
