Ubuntu with Bulldog ISP in UK

hi

im currently running gentoo but will be making the switch to ubuntu in
the next week or so along with a change of ISP

am planning on going with Bulldog (UK) ADSL service - Speedtouch 330
modem is provided

has anybody had any experience with this setup or know of any issues
or advice on getting it up and running quickly and easily

im a bit of a noob when it comes to networking so any help would be
much appreciated
