Almost, it doesn't quite work correctly (probably not tested, I'm not
sure if it should be reported as a bug as it probably just isn't a
supported feature). You would have to do steps 2, and 3 as I described,
then you can navigate to it via "Computer -> Filesystem -> media ->
cdrom0 (or whichever)". Then step 2 when you are done with the disk.

I use that too, and it annoys me that it is easier in Windows.
