I am new to Ubuntu. I've installed 5.10 i386 cd and it looks wonderful. 
However I have used kde in the  past and with gnome, I haven't found where to 
plug in my dial-up phone number and DNS numbers so I can get on-line.
 Also the SATA drive(Western Digital Caviar 80mg) isn't recognized. The old 
EIDE works fine and I would like to use both. 
Any ideas will be appreciated.
