And what is the point in doing so in a non-windows forum?
For example, if you come to my house to complain that you
don't like my tv's remote, and that the table is in the middle
of your path to the kitchen, and that the living room is a mess,
and that you don't like my cat how should I react?
I feel that in this list people get help as long as they ask for it.
This is not what the op asked. He just ranted and did not explain
what his specific problems was. As he said, what a mess!.
As for the commercial-ness of linux versus only the users,
I guess both points are non-exclusive. You can sell *nix
services to those users if they don't care to service themselves.
But how can you have a commercial relation with somebody
who won't say what his needs are but just he doesn't
like it?.
Furthermore, want a list free of zealots? Want professional
support no matter what and how you ask for it?. Pay it.
There are companies and people that will do it for sure.
Finally, I scanned the whole thread and I could not find
nothing too zealous except somebody's comment on
communism. But maybe I have seen worst things ;-)
If you have a question ask it, if you have an answer
offer it. To vent frustrations go to the shrink.
Everybody take it easy and let's get back to talk
Ubuntu. That is the point of this list.
Just my UY$ 1.
Peace
