Others have already commented that a dedicated DVD recorder is probably
more fun than a TV capture setup on the PC. That's also my experience. I
just wanted to add that recently I saw a combined VCR + DVD recorder box
that costed only ca. 340 EUR. If you don't own a VCR anymore, this might
be a good option.
