The NDIS module is compiled and included with teh dernel modules.  The
only package needed to get this to run is the ndis-ultilities package
from the repositories.  This package worked for my card on an compaq
R3420.  I don't know if it will work with the Dell but it should. 
That way you won't have to compile so every time you updated the
kernel it will pull the new version of the module as well.
