dict/words

Today I went to check a word and found that the words file was a dangling link
/usr/share/dict/words -> /etc/dictionaries-common/words
I was surprised that no words file was installed by default with Hoary, or suggested when
openoffice.org or aspell were installed. I performed searches in synaptic on 'dict' and
'words' but these either missed or matched hundreds of packages with no obvious package
supplying dict/words.
Finally I found the correct package with:
apt-cache search words | grep -i dictionary | less
The relevant packages for me were the obscurely named 'wbritish' and 'wamerican'.
Can I suggest that either a words file is installed by default, or when a language is selected,
or with a spelling package, or with a word-processor; or at least that the relevant packages
are given meaningful (understandable or searchable) names such as 'dictwords-british'.
Cheers,
Toby
