ESSID won't go away

It is in /etc/network/interfaces

I don't know where the 'profiles' are stored, but they
modify /etc/network/interfaces and only change if you ask it to.

Make sure you fix up all the appropriate bits.

The important bit is to change back to the location you want to have
active, you can do this after boot, just go itno network admin and
select the location you want from the list.

Make sure your wireless interface is marked 'Active' in the new profile.
