cannot read/print japanese pdf files

In fact I had already xpdf-japanese installed.

I can open correctly the first one with xpdf and gpdf, and the second
one only with xpdf. Sorry I cannot test for printing because I am not
at the office... I will try again on monday

By the way, is there an actual difference between ttf-kochi-mincho and
ttf-kochi-mincho-naga10 ?
