Why are we still using Eye of Gnome?

gThumb have all the features that is included in EOG.
gThumb have more features than EOG.
gThumb is also fast.
gThumb have next and forward features.
Image viewers in GNOME seems ironic in their "About" definitions.
gThumb says.
"An image viewer and browser for GNOME."
EOG says.
"The GNOME image viewing and cataloging program."
EOG? "cataloging program", how? where?
IMO, I think they should switch their about definitions.
