Yes, a little. Try to remove atiixp with rmmod atiixp. CMIIW. Maybe
this module is necessary, I don't know. But removing doesn't hurt.
If it's impossible because of dependencies, blacklist this module
and reboot. If that doesn't help repeat for snd_atiixp with atiixp
loaded.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but that's how I would start searching.
