OOo problem: Blank window created when opening document

Since upgrading to Hoary and OOo2 I've experience the following very
annoying problem:

Every time I open a file from Nautilus with OOo2, in addition to
opening the file, OOo also opens a blank document. I can close the
document without problem, but it's annoying because it happens a
hundred times a day (I work with a lot of files). I googled but found
nothing helpful. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how to
turn it off?

I thought perhaps the problem was Nautilus, but when launching a file
from rox-filer I experience the same. The launch command is:

ooffice2 -writer "$@" [the latter being the file selected]

So I think it's an OO problem.

Thanks for the help!
