[Hoary] Mounting Powershot A75

Hi everyone. I'm using hoary and I'm experiencing the following problem
with my canon powershot A75 digital camera.

The camera gets detected fine in various applications (gthumb,
ghoto2,..) and I can access all the photos on the disk.

I'm failing miserably however, when I try to mount the camera to use it
as a normal file system. No /dev/sda* entries are created by hotplug.

[code]dmesg[/code]
returns

[output]
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup
usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
[/output]

and furthermore,
[code]lsusb[/code]

returns that the camera is detected on bus 001, device 004.

[output]
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 04a9:30b5 Canon, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
[/output]

The corresponding entries in /proc/bus/usb/ are created as well.

I know that this is a problem related to the powershot A75, because
several other digital cameras and usb-sticks are mounted on the fly :)

Anyone who can give me a hint howto mount a device in /proc/bus/usb/... ?

Greets,
Bernhard
