unable to reinstall grub

But In my case-> (hd0,2) in grub correspond to /dev/hda4 for Linux??????

This was not the case before I install Windows XP, is it possible that the 
installation of Windows XP has modified my partition table in such way that 
grub and linux do not interpret it in the same way ?
