HELP! video card issues?

Thanks Bob Nielsen. Had to go through GRUB option "Recovery Mode" and 
run the command 'dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86'. I still have to go 
through the manuals that came with my hardward but for now, I'm enjoying 
the eye candy of Gnome.
