[hoary] file search crash

i updated hoary today,
used the file search, entered a search term,
then wanted to change the folder to be searched,
and x crashed, leading to a new log in prompt.
later, again, but this time the search had been completed
before i attempted to change the search folder.
i can not reproduce this bug reliably though.

also, the bug where i can not enter a name
for a newly created folder in list view
is still not fixed.
i remember macosx was also struggling with this one
some two years ago ...
